I am surprised that Verizon will not do not do it also. If not for the poor coverage of ATT in my area I would switch back. I bought the unlocked S8 during Samsung's trade-in deal. I'm really loving the phone, but was disappointed to see no Visual Voicemail. I searched the Play Store with no luck (just looking for one by Verizon, not sure if 3rd party ones are credible?), so I called up Verizon. To cancel Visual Voicemail service: Go to the Add-ons and apps page in My Verizon. Click the Manage Your Products tab. In the Visual Voicemail section, click Remove from Account in the top-right corner. Follow the onscreen prompts to remove the feature from your account. You've successfully canceled Visual Voicemail.

I tried activating the 'pager notification' in the voicemail settings (dial *86), but it doesn't notify my device of new voicemail.
